Training Requirements for Citrix XenApp

Number of required certified persons

  • 1 person holding a sales certification
  • 1 person holding a technical certification

Sales training

Partners will meet the sales requirements if one (1) member of their sales staff have attained certification as a Please click on the links to review training courses and exam (My Citrix login required). 
 

Technical training

One (1) member of your technical staff must attain certification as a Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA). Partners can choose between two different certifications as listed below. Please click on the links to review the corresponding training courses and exam information.


Please note: Upon the release of the exam for the CCA for Citrix XenApp 6, scheduled for the end of September 2010, the CCA for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) will need to be upgraded to the CCA for Citrix XenApp 6 as it will cease to be considered valid for the purpose of the XenApp product certification from January 1st 2011.

Furthermore, we accept any of the following certifications as alternative to the CCA:

  • CCEA (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator) for XenApp (Presentation Server 4)
  • CCEE (Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer) for Virtualization
  • CCIA (Citrix Certified Integration Architect) for XenApp (Presentation Server 4)  
  • CCIA (Citrix Certified Integration Architect) for Virtualization 



Note
Certifications related to the partner status Citrix Solution Advisor for XenApp are attained at head office level.

 

 

 

Training requirements for the CSA Gold program for XenApp

Number of required certified persons

  • 2 persons holding a sales certification
  • 2 persons holding a technical certification

Sales training

Partners will meet the sales requirements if two (2) member of their sales staff have attained certification as a Citrix Certified Sales Professional (see training requirements for Citrix XenApp for further details). 

Technical training

One (1) member of your technical staff must attain certification as a Citrix Certified Administrator (see training requirements for Citrix XenApp for further details). 

In addition, at least one member of your technical staff must attain certification either as a Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) or as a Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) or as a Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA). Notes
The overlapping of individuals with sales and technical certifications is permitted (for example, one CCA holder can also be a CCSP holder = one individual).

In addition, candidates are required to attend the course as well as pass the exam in order to achieve full product certification.
