Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Embedded

The Embedded Solutions ISV Program is open to all applicants of Independent Software Vendors wishing to bundle Citrix electronic shrink wrap software with their own applications.

The license grant allows the ISV access to bundle XenApp, Password Manager or Access Essentials with their applications.

The ISV may distribute Citrix products bundled with their own application software directly to end users or through their third-party reseller channel. The ISV may not sell any Citrix products on a stand-alone basis.

Requirements

To qualify for the Citrix Solution Advisor ISV program, you will be asked to meet criteria which measure your level of commitment in partnering with Citrix. These include for:


Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for XenApp  1 person holding a CCA for Citrix XenApp [1]
Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP)  1 person for last two platform releases [2]
   
Annual Membership Fee $   3.000
Annual Sales Quota $ 75.000
Annual Business Plan required


   

Notes:
Please note that candidates are required to attend the course as well as pass the exam in order to achieve full product certification.

The CCA for Access Gateway certification covers both Standard and Advanced editions of Citrix Access Gateway. If ISVs deploy the Enterprise Edition option as part of the Platinum Edition sale they are strongly recommended to follow the training for Access Gateway Enterprise Edition (click here). However, there is no requirement to pass the associated exams for Access Gateway Enterprise Edition to be able to sell the Platinum Edition.

[1] Please note that, effective March 31st 2008, the CCA certification based on platform 3 is no longer accepted as a valid certification for the renewal of a Citrix program membership. For further information please contact Citrix Partner Operations.

[2] With the introduction of CCSP 2007, partners can choose between the different variants of CCSP (CCSP 2008 for Windows Application Delivery, Desktop Delivery or Web Application Delivery) or alternatively the CCSP 4 certification. This approach allows Citrix Solution Advisors to have multiple types of sales specialists for the different product lines. From 1st October 2007 onwards, partners applying or renewing their membership should have CCSP 4 or one of the variants of CCSP 2007. However, the number of certified sales persons will remain the same as stated above. For more information on the CCSP certification, click here.
