What is the purpose of Not For Resale (NFR) and Internal Use Licenses (IOUL)? |
| A | Not-for-resale licenses are intended for your company’s internal use to demonstrate the Citrix software products in a non-production environment. Internal only use licenses (IOUL) are intended for your company’s internal use in a production environment. Use them to understand first-hand what Citrix software solutions can do for your company. |

What is the difference between a NFR and a Citrix Evaluation product? |
| A | A Citrix NFR product is intended for your company’s internal use to demonstrate Citrix software products in a non-production environment. Use them to show your customers first-hand what Citrix software solutions can do for their companies! Not-for-resale licenses may not be transferred to any other organization, either temporarily or permanently. A Citrix Evaluation product is for short-term installations at a customer site to support Proof of Concept activities and shorten the sales cycle. Citrix Evaluation products are available for a limited term, typically 90 days, and may only support a pre-defined number of users. |

Can a Citrix NFR product be transferred to another organization? |
| A | No. Citrix NFR software and NFR appliance products may not be transferred to any other organization, either temporarily or permanently. |

Must I be authorized to sell a product to get an NFR version of that product? |
| A | No. Citrix Partners may get an NFR version of a software or appliance product regardless of whether they are authorized to sell that product. |

What is the cost of NFR products? |
| A | Citrix NFR software is available to Citrix Partners free of charge. Citrix NFR appliances are available to Citrix Partners at a substantial discount. |

| A | All Citrix software NFR software products are available for download via the Partner Use Licenses toolbox on MyCitrix.com. |

Who may download Citrix NFR licenses? |
| A | Any Partner’s Sales or Technical Contact who is registered with Citrix’s CRM system will have access to Citrix NFR software licenses. A Partner’s Business Contact can use his or her MyCitrix.com account to designate people as Sales or Business contacts. |

Do Citrix NFR software licenses expire and, if it does, what should I do when it expires? |
| A | Yes. Citrix NFR software licenses expire one (1) year after download. Upon expiration of an existing Citrix NFR license, a Citrix Partner should retrieve and download a fresh license from MyCitrix.com to replace the expired license. |

How does a Citrix Solution Advisor obtain NFR and IOUL for Citrix XenServer? |
| A | Citrix Essentials for XenServer Express Edition is the free version of Citrix’s virtualization platform. This product is freely downloadable from www.citrix.com/xenserver. Additionally, evaluation and not for resale (NFR) versions of Citrix Essentials for XenServer Enterprise Edition are available. An existing Citrix partner can order Citrix Essentials for XenServer NFR software by sending an email to emea-nfr@eu.citrix.com with its Org ID, Company Address, Contact Name, Contact Email Address and Contact’s phone number. A new Citrix partner is required to register for the Citrix Essentials for XenServer program before requesting the NFRs for this product. The registration can be carried out visiting www.citrix-channel.com, selecting the program page and clicking on the apply now link. The normal response time for the delivery of the NFR is 3 to 5 business days. |

| A | Yes. Citrix NFR appliance products are covered by warranty at no additional cost. |

May I resell a Citrix NFR appliance product after I’ve had it for a specific time? |
| A | No. Citrix does not allow Partners to resell Citrix NFR appliance products. |

Does software installed on Citrix NFR appliance products expire, and if so, what should I do when it expires? |
| A | Yes. Software installed on Citrix NFR appliances products must be NFR software licenses and will expire one (1) year after retrieval. Upon expiration, a Citrix Partner should download new NFR software from the Partner Use Licenses toolbox on MyCitrix.com and install it on the appliance product. |

| A | Yes. IOUL Licenses expire one (1) year after download. |

What do I have to do to renew my IOUL licenses? |
| A | IOUL cannot be renewed they must be replaced. Upon expiration of existing IOUL licenses Citrix Authorized Partner Program Members will be able to retrieve and download a fresh set of licenses to replace the expired licenses. |

Is the availability of IUOLs linked to my product certification? |
| A | At this time there is no product certification requirement to download IOUL. |
